The Joint Examination (JEE) is an all india common entrance examination which conducted for admission in various engineering courses in the 2015 year.

The (CBSE) Central Board of Secondary Education has announced this common examination in place of AIEEE and IIT-JEE. The JEE is being conducted in to two parts, 1. JEE-Main and 2. JEE Advanced.

JEE Advanced is for admission in Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs) and Indian School of Mines (ISM) Dhanbad and JEE Main Exam is to admission in IIITs (Indian Institutes of Information Technology), National Institutes of Technology, Central Funded Technical Institute (CFTI) and IIEST shibpur for admission to its dual degree programme.

The candidates who are cleared JEE Advanced exam have the opportunity to join either the IIT or ISM, those who clear JEE Mains they are not eligible for JEE Advanced can seek admission in other engineering colleges such Indian Institute of Information Technology. National Institute of Technology and other Govt. and Private Engineering Colleges.
