Application Form & Information Brochure of SAAT–2015 can be obtained in Person / by Post from the SOA University, Khandagiri Square, Bhubaneswar - 751030, or from different counters of the constituent institutes of the university on payment of ` 500/- in cash (on account of examination fees).

Application form & information brochure of SAAT–2015 can also be obtained from designated branches of Axis Bank and Punjab National Bank (enlisted in Appendix-XIX) on payment of Rs.500/- in cash (on account of examination fees) . Candidates can apply online at www.soauniversity.ac.in by making a payment of Rs.500/- (on account of examination fees), through Debit Card/Credit Card.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR FILLING UP SAAT-2015 APPLICATION FORM :

Please note down the six-digit application number for future reference. Read the instructions carefully before filling up the application form. Refer to the sample filled in application form provided in this brochure. First write in capital letters the required information in rectangular boxes above the circles (wherever provided) and then darken the appropriate circle underneath each letter. What you write in these boxes is only for your guidance and for verification that you are darkening the correct circle

The application form will be processed on OMR. Therefore, darken the circles carefully using HB pencil or blue / black ball pen only. Please see the illustration on the application form to learn how to darken the circles. If you wish to change a marking, erase the darkened circle completely and then darken the appropriate circle. This is possible if you are using a pencil. Otherwise, you can use white correction fluid for covering the wrongly darkened circle.

Do not scribble, smudge, cut, tear, or wrinkle the application form. Do not put any stray marks any where on the application form. Do not write or put any mark on the Barcodes. Your photograph, signature and address are to be scanned by machine that recognizes only good quality images, and from the specified areas of the form. Therefore paste a good colour photograph taken not more than one month earlier, and write your address and sign in black / blue ball pen only. Retain two copies of the same photograph for future.

Please note that your name, your parents’ / guardian’s name and your date of birth should exactly be the same as in your High school or your first Board / Pre-University examination certificate. Deviation, if any whenever discovered, may lead to cancellation of your candidature. Your application must be complete in all aspects. Incomplete application or application filled in a language other than English will be summarily rejected. Options filled by you in the application form can not be changed at a later stage.

It is suggested that you make a photocopy of the application form before filling and use that first for
practice. No reservation norms are applicable for Lateral Entry (LE) admissions.

CAT 2014 Examination Pattern : IIMs has made some changes in Examination pattern. This year CAT 2014 Examination will be held on 2 days i.e 2-day testing window(4 session).

CAT 2014 Eligibility Criteria :

Educational Qualification : The candidate must hold a Bachelor’s Degree, with at least 50% marks or equivalent CGPA (45% in case of the candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST) and Persons with Disability (PWD)/Differently Able (DA) category).

Note : Candidates appearing for the final year of bachelor’s degree/equivalent qualification examination and those who have completed degree requirements and are awaiting results can also apply.

Reservations : As per the Government of India requirements, 15% of the seats are reserved for Scheduled Caste (SC) and 7.5% for Scheduled Tribe (ST) candidates. 27% of seats are reserved for Other Backward Classes candidates belonging to the “non - creamy” layer (NC - OBC).

CAT 2014 Admission Process : Candidates will be shortlisted on the basis of Marks obtained in CAT Examination. IIMs will shortlist the candidates for second stage of selection which may be independent of each other. The process may include Written Ability Test (WAT), group discussion (GD) and Personal Interview (PI).

For these examinations, students must have minimum age limit i.e. 14 years and they should have completed 10th class from Government approval board. For general and SEBC candidates have to pay Rs 250 /- as application fee and for reserved candidates have to pay Rs 100 /- as application fee. 

There is a specific process to apply for these examinations. All candidates should visit official website at www.vppup.in and now the candidates need to enter all the details like Login ID, password and code then press submit button. After all the process candidates are supposed to fill up the application form with correct information and submit it. If candidates have any queries they can contact the helpline number or visit the official website.

As stated above there is a certain eligibility or say qualification that is required by the students. Only 10th passed from state education board is required to submit application form as given UP ITI notice. 

Such examinations are not a cake walk. These examinations require hard work and persistence. Apart from hard work, focus is required. 

Another significant aspect is that of result. The candidates who appeared for these examinations conducted by VPPUP are performed every year. The examination is mainly for all the Uttar Pradesh candidates to take admission in various 3 year ITI programs in Government and private college and ITI institutes. Top candidates of merit list will be allotted government colleges and all other candidates will be allotted colleges according to their Rank in the merit list. 

How to check results?

1. Firstly applicants visit the official website that is online.vppup.in 

2. When the candidates open results page they need to enter the Roll Number. 

3. After entering the roll number press “Show” button. 

4. Once the process students will be allotted roll number and they need to enter the roll number.
