The candidate should report at their Centre at 08.30 A.M for English Stenography and at 01.30 P.M for Hindi Stenography Test. The Entry at the Main Gate will be closed at 09.00 A.M for English Stenogrpahy and at 02.00 P.M for Hindi Stenography Test.

In 1977, the Govt. of the Punjab separated the Bahawalpur Division from the Multan and approved the sanction of B.I.S.E Bahawalpur as a separate independent Educational Board.

On 9th July 1977, a camp office of Bahawalpur Board was established in Multan and the willingness of the staff of Multan Board for Bahawalpur Board was called for. 

On 3rd February 1978, the Bahawalpur Board started functioning in Bahawalpur in a hired building and at the middle of 1978, on the completion of staff, the first examination of Supplementary 1978 was held.

In early 1979, the office of Bahawalpur Board was shifted to a building of Daulat Khana afterwards; the Revenue Board allotted about 23 Acre plot of land (wherein the present campus exists) to Bahawalpur Board. The Board, according to its financial means built the boundary wall and a limited office building, and the Board was shifted to this campus in 1985.

With the increasing number of candidates and requirements, it was decided to build a new building for the Board in 1989. The construction of the new building was started in September 1991 and it was completed in 18 months with the cost of about 2.5 corer rupees. The office of Board was shifted to the newly constructed building in March 1993 and the old Building was specified for Sports Hostel Warehouse and Secrecy Offices. Now it has been decided that this old building will be specified for Examination center.

BLDEU PGET 2014 Test Admission Ticket (TAT) :

Issue of Online TAT cards - Hard copies of the TAT card will not be sent by post / courier, hence eligible candidates are informed to download their TAT cards from University website. Candidates who have applied, can check the status of application from the website. The candidate must not mutilate the TAT Card or change any entry, made therein after the University authorities have authenticated it.

Test Scheme

BLDEU-PGET-2014 will have the following pattern. There will be only one test which will have 180 multiple-choice questions (MCQ). The time allotted for the test shall be 180 minutes. The test will begin at 2:00pm and end at 5:00pm

Candidates are required to mark their answers in an OMR (Optical Mark Reader) Answer Sheet. Each correct answer is awarded with one mark. There will be no negative marking. No mark/s will be awarded for multiple marking (marking multiple responses) for any question.

Instructions to the Candidates for taking Test

Before marking anything get certification from invigilator or wait for announcement. Report 60 minutes before the commencement of the test (at 1:00pm) Use ball point pen with black ink to mark on the OMR sheet. Test commences at 2:00pm Candidates reporting after 2.15 pm will not be permitted to appear for the test.

Answer sheet: All answers need to be registered on an Optical Mark Reader (OMR) sheet, which is machine read and evaluated. Candidates must use black ballpoint pen for marking their answers on the OMR sheet. Use of erasers or whiteners is not permitted. OMR answer sheets will be supplied only at the examination hall. After the test is over, the answer sheet should be submitted back to the invigilator, before leaving the room.

Please note that the candidates must sign on attendance sheet and OMR answer sheets in the presence of the invigilator, after the invigilator has verified their TAT. Candidates are also required to write their TAT number (in numerals and words e.g. if your TAT no. is 111001 write in words as ONE ONE ONE ZERO ZERO ONE ), Question Booklet number (in numerals and words; as exemplified for TAT No.), Version Code, only in the space provided in their OMR answer sheet.

The OMR answer sheet is machine assessed and therefore it should be handled with care. If there is any doubt, please contact the test invigilator immediately. The BLDEU-PGET-2014 test administration is timed. The test session is designed to be completed within 180 minutes as indicated in this brochure and no compromise will be made on the set time limit. The Chief Superintendent of the test centre is the official timekeeper. Candidates (Test takers) will not be permitted to continue the test beyond the established time limit. Photography, Video shooting and finger print scanning (biometrics) shall be done during the test and counseling. Candidates are not allowed to go out of the room temporarily for any reason during the test duration
